Marketing, Department of

Students majoring in Marketing receive a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Students who choose to major in Marketing must take 18 hours in Marketing beyond the Business Core Requirements--three required courses and three electives.

The Martin Museum of Art offers quality exhibitions of fine art to the students, faculty, and staff of Baylor University and to the Waco and Central Texas communities. 

Master of Business Administration, Healthcare Administration Specialization

The Master of Business Administration, Healthcare Administration Specialization, known as the Robbins Healthcare MBA, develops those with a passion for serving others with the analytical and interpersonal skills required for early career executive positions in healthcare. The Healthcare Administration Specialization combines the quantitative strengths of an MBA with a specialized, experiential learningand competency-based curriculum focused on the healthcare industry.

Mathematics, Department of

McBride Center for International Business

Serving members of the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University, the McBride Center for International Business supports learning and discovery through global initiatives. 

McLane Student Life Center (SLC)

The McLane Student Life Center (SLC) is a 156,000 square foot recreation center for student, faculty, and staff. The SLC includes a fitness center, a climbing ROCK, leisure pool, outdoor basketball & sand volleyball courts, 4-court gymnasium, conference rooms, racquetball/squash courts, indoor jogging track, aerobics studio and student lounge. McMullen-Connally Family Collection

The McMullen-Connally Family Collection consists of 227 watercolors by over sixty different artists and numerous personal artifacts. The watercolors represent a specific movement known as the California School of Watercolor that flourished in the 1930s and 1940s.

McNair Scholars Program

A federally funded program with the goal of increasing the number of students in doctoral degree programs who are low-income and first-generation undergraduates, or students who come from groups underrepresented in graduate education. 

Media and Public Relations

The Media and Public Relations office of the Marketing and Communications division serves as a primary contact point for media looking for information about the University. Media and Public Relations staff can assist reporters in locating experts for stories, and they issue news releases daily on Baylor events and announcements.

Medical Humanities is intended primarily for undergraduate students entering health care professions. 

Memorial Residence Hall

The Honors Residential College (HRC) is home to more than 300 honors students. Residents enjoy traditions, such as high tea, community dinners, hall prayer, and academic programs that allow the formation of the whole person.

Middle East Studies

The Middle East is the cradle of both Western civilization and its major religious traditions: Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. The Middle East Studies minor is interdepartmental and interdisciplinary, designed to provide students with a broad introduction to the region, and provides the student with an opportunity to travel to the Middle East for study at the American University in Cairo.

Military Studies

Military Studies (MILS) is an interdisciplinary program with the primary focus of educating students about military practices and institutions throughout history and around the world to prepare them for worldwide leadership and service.

Model Organization of American States (MOAS)

By participating in MOAS, students develop international public policies on issues affecting the Americas and apply theory learned in the classroom. The study of foreign language, literature, and culture gives students direct access to different parts of the world and at the same time provides them with novel perspectives from which to view American life.

Modernizing Water and Wastewater Treatment through Data Science Education and Research

 Joint with Colorado School of Mines, the National Science Foundation has funded the MoWaTER program, which contains two primary parts—a novel, introductory data science course and an undergraduate summer research program.

Moody and Jones Libraries

The Central Libraries are composed of Moody Memorial Library (opened 1968) and Jesse H. Jones Library (opened 1992). These two libraries, connected with a corridor on first and second floors, together serve as the main library facility on campus.
