ABOUT THE BOOK
Does it seem like God’s plan for your life has turned your own plans upside down? Have you found yourself questioning where God is after something seemingly devastating happened?
In over twenty-five years of serving in the television broadcast journalism field, Chip Waggoner has seen exhilarating police rescues, dynamic car chases, and unparalleled heroism in high-pressure fire rescues. He even "became the news" by surviving a near-death helicopter crash. Yet, none of these adventures compared to the off-camera events of his life.
M.I.P. (Miracle in Progress) Discovering the Wonder of God’s Perfect Plan in Our Lives, is a candid reflection on the soul-searching struggle Wendy and Chip faced when they learned their unborn son would come into the world with special and complex challenges. Like many who have received that kind of news, their faith was put to the ultimate test.
While this is largely the story of their amazing son, Benjamin, it is also a testimony of how God graciously gave Chip a front-row seat to witness a miracle unfold. What he once feared as one of the worst things to happen, turned out to be the greatest blessing. God gave the Waggoners the most precious gift of all: being led on a path straight to Him.
